Protect your account
Keep your sign-in details, local files, and support messages private.
Keep sign-in details private
Treat your API key like a password. Enter it only into the AntGain client or your private node configuration. Do not publish it in screenshots, log excerpts, shared environment files, or support messages.
Desktop users can choose Account → Logout to remove the saved API key. CLI users can run antgain logout; also unset or replace any key in the shell environment. For Docker, change the environment file and recreate the container to change its credentials.
Protect local files
Keep your device account secured and its software up to date. Client configuration and Docker environment files can contain sensitive information. Do not share them or grant unnecessary access to them.
Local configuration protection does not replace your device's security controls. See Local configuration and credentials.
Share support information carefully
Start with the app version, operating system, and a description of the problem. Desktop users can use AntGain not working? → Copy Diagnostics.
If a log excerpt or screenshot is needed, review it first and remove login details and personal information. Do not send a complete configuration file or log folder.
Suspected account exposure
Stop the node if needed and contact support@antgain.app. Describe what happened without including the exposed key or password.
