Install AntGain on Android and sign in with your API key.
Install
Open the official download page on your Android device and choose the available Android package for your device.
Follow Android's installation prompts for the downloaded package. Confirm the source before allowing installation from that source.
Sign in
- Sign in to AntGain Account Settings and obtain your API key.
- Open the app and enter the key in its API key sign-in screen.
- Start the node and wait for the connection status to become connected.
Android uses the API key you enter in the app. Once saved, it is used to sign in on later launches. Logout clears the saved key. Do not include the key in screenshots or support messages.
Keep the node available
Use the app's stop control when you want to stop participation. Android can restrict background work when the app is suspended, the device sleeps, or battery/network policy changes. An installed app or an open screen does not prove a continuing node connection; check app state and the Dashboard.
Use a connection you are allowed to share and monitor data use, especially on metered mobile plans. Connected time does not guarantee traffic or earnings.
Updates and local data
Install updates from the official download page. Keep the app's data when upgrading; clearing application data or uninstalling can remove credentials and local identity. Configuration is in Android's application data directory, rather than the desktop home directory.
Version 1.1.4 protects locally saved configuration. Keep your device secured and avoid sharing app data. Older versions may not support newer configuration; see Safety & Privacy.
Troubleshooting
If authentication fails, check the entered key and account state. If registration is rejected after switching accounts, check the exact error rather than repeatedly clearing app data. If connection drops in the background, check Android battery and background-network settings for AntGain and your network's restrictions.
